Sono is a 2D exploration game where players effortlessly glide through an abstract microcosm collecting lost fragments of sound. This game was initially an entry to the Alternative Control competition at GDC 2020, and designed to be played with a MIDI turntable. Since then, Sono has been updated for keyboard and game pad controls. It was developed using Unity engine.

Sono is available on Steam here

As the lead engineer on this project, I was part of the initial prototyping phase, and created the interface to translate MIDI signals into usable values for the game. I also handled the logic of in-game puzzles, companion AI, and dynamic loading/garbage collection.
